Next Contender for the Fab5

Who will be the next contender for the Fab5? The common names that comes to our minds are Sehwag, Harbhajan, Zaheer Khan and Kaif. Speaking of Kaif, he's currently 30 years and is unable to get his position back in the team. Way back in 2004, Kaif stood strong with the wall (Dravid) and saved India from losing many matches. Virender Sehwag has made 6000 ODI runs and is the 6th batsman from India to achieve this feat. He seems unstoppable with his devastating form. Harbhajan has taken 500 wickets (300 in tests and 200 in ODIs) and can be a well future senior cricketer, Zaheer Khan has been somewhere or the other continuing with his average to good form since the last Decade, he is one probability. Now, wait for the future. Time will tell, who will be the next Fab5 cricketer.

Dravid's bad form continues..

Rahul Dravid departs by making a single-digit score in the first innings of the first test against England. His bad form continues with his test average of just over 26 in this year. The main question on everyone's mind is..where is Dravid? Where is the wall which had made 10k runs in test cricket? Is he growing too old? Should he retire? All cricket knowledgeable people know that he didn't become the wall just like that and will return to form very soon.

Our hopes are with Dravid and we hope that he ma
kes a blasting concrete exit from test cricket whenever he retires.

End of the Fab5??

Is it the end of Fab5? The most popular question has arised now? With Kumble and Ganguly's retirement, we also get to see that many people tell VVS Laxman unfit inspite of his 2 half centuries and a double century. Dravid is in poor form but continues to be an automatic choice for the tests. The time has now come for Dravid also to get out. Sachin is still there, but he can't play in his usual technique as his friends "the other 4" are lingering. What will happen? Only time can tell...............

Sachin Tendulkar

"Men are not always the master of their fates"

A young lad named Sachin set out in cricket world to become a bowler and find a place in the team, but fate is one thing, he became a batsman & then became the masters of master. Master Blaster!!! No one will doubt if you say that Sachin is the best player of the world. Sachin is the best player. has all the records which prove that he is the best.
Maximum No of Test Runs : 12,000+
Maximum No of ODI Runs: 16,000+
Maximum ODI Centuries : 41
Maximum Test Centuries: 40
Maximum ODI Half-Centuries: 90
Maximum matches played in ODI / Tests : 450+ / 154

V V S Laxman

Vangipurrapu Venkata Sai Laxman (VVS Laxman) is a player from hyderabad. He is the only automatic choice for test matches except for Dravid. He was named "Very Very Special" by one of the best wicketkeepers in Australian history, Adam Gilchrist after his scintillating knock of 281* at Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2001 against Australia. This match was out of India's hands while they were trailing by 200+ runs in 1st innings. The 281 by Laxman led India to victory, not only the match but the series. He is the youngest of the fab5 and his good form continues as he hit a half century and unbeaten 200 against Australia in the earlier series. 33 year old Vangipurrapu Laxman is all set to blast till his retirement and become at least the 5th player in Indian history to make 7000+ test runs!

Rahul Dravid

Better known as the wall, Rahul Dravid is a cricketer who looks to defend and stand as strong as wall from defeat. Rahul Dravid has been playing for over a decade and has made 10,000 runs in ODI as well as in test cricket. He is known as the wall due to his defensive batting and he is an automatic choice for a test match. He is undergoing bad form nowadays, hope he makes a blasting entry and prove the media channels wrong just like Yuvraj Singh and Dada did. Apart from defensive batting, we can also conclude that he is a good T20 batsman also. We can prove it by his blasting 60+ with only 33 balls. Although Royal Challengers, Bangalore lost that match, we can prove that Dravid is unquestionable and unputdownlable

Not only this, Shane Warne, the outstanding bowler of Australia told that Dravid is not only a wall, he is a fortress!
